1. Full port body design

Symmetry port, good for medium flow. Sophisticated process, precision production. Strong toughness, high pressure resistance, and high pressure and crack resistance of thickness.

2. Standard thickness as API

ZJCLV valves are designed both standard thick on body and flanges, so reliable for exposure shell performance and pressure resistance as 1.5times than the standard pressure so for long time usage.

The valve weight is more than standard.  Note: many cheaper valves from other companies always reduce the body thickness to save cost. So it is important to check not only the flange thickness but also the valve weight too simply to difference the good and bad valves.

3. OS&Y designed

This valve is designed with OS&Y( outside screw & yoke as rising stem type),  as most popularly used valve type in gate valves. It is convenient and durable as due to the stem nut of the valve stem, this structure is beneficial to the lubrication of the valve stem, and the degree of opening and closing is obvious, most popularly used in application. Vise verse, we have another type as non-rising stem type which stem move is not visible which is used for small space.

4. Bronze stem nut used

ZJCLV valves use real bronze stem nut for long time service life as easy to lubricate and protect stem screws. Or as customer required，we use American Standard ASTM A439-1983 D-2 as D-2 High nickel cast iron products have good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, structural stability, thermal expansion, and non-magnetic properties. It is suitable for important parts in the machinery industry such as valve stem nuts.

PS：While pls note some small factories use casting iron stem nut by surfaced with brass as treat such as material grade ASTM A536 80-55-06 which is 50% cost saving but easily to be broken and break stem screw quality to half.

5. Forged steel T type stem

We use the standard forged steel stem material as ASTM A182 F6a. It is with high tensile strength, not like that some small factories use bar material with less strength. And more for bars they only welding a little on the stem ends which is not same as our fully made ends so that the cost is about 30% different.

6. BB,bolted bonnet

Our 16” gate valves are designed with standard thickness for bonnet with replaceable back seat as ASTM A276 410. More the bolts and nuts on bonnets are also standard. The bolts are full screws as ASTM A193 Gr.B7, and nuts are ASTM A194 Gr.2H. Many cheap factories use the fake B7 as real material A3 in china which is not screws in the middle of bolts and also 2H nuts are not heat treated so to save about 30% cost but reduce the screw strength finally as cost.
