8) Valve Details
1. Body&bonnet
Three piece construction; Side entry; Thick forged body and bonnet. |
2. Bolted bonnet connection
We used A193 B7/A194 2H to connect the body and bonnet. Our bolts are all whole thread, which is with firm tensile strength. not like some defective bolts with non-thread in the middle as used by some small factories. |
3. Double Block And Bleed (DBB)
When the valve is closed and the middle cavity is emptied through the discharge valve, the upstream and downstream seats will independently block the fluid at the inlet and outlet to realize double block function.Another function of the discharge device is that the valve seat can be checked if there is any leakage during the test. ln addition, the dirties inside the body can be washed and discharged through the drain device to reduce damage to the seat by impurities in the medium. |
4. Emergency Sealing Device
This ball valves is designed with sealant injection device on stem and seat. When the seat ring or stem O ring is damaged due to accident, the corresponding sealant can be injected by the sealant injection device to avoid medium leakage on seat ring and stem. If necessary, the auxiliary sealing system can be used for washing and lubricating the seat to maintain its cleanliness. |
5. Metal Seat Sealing as Naturally Fireproof
This ball valve is metal to metal designed. Both seat and ball is metal surfaced with Nickel specially for wearing. That is seat material is SS304+Ni55, and ball material is SS304+Ni60. Its design is for high temperature and naturally fire-proof, not like plastic seat that may be metal or damaged easily while fire happens. More,we also often use other types of metal powder like stellite(STL) and Tungsten Carbide(TCC)as better choice for customers. |
6. Anti-static Structure
This ball valve is provided with the anti-static structure and adopts the static electricity discharge device to directly form a static channel between the ball and body or form a static channel between the ball and body through the stem, so as to discharge the static electricity produced due to friction during the opening and closing of ball and seat through the pipeline,avoiding fire or explosion that may be caused by static spark and ensuring system safety. |
7. Low Operating Torque
This trunnion pipeline ball valve adopts the trunnion ball structure, so as to achieve lower torque under operating pressure. Trunnion mounted ball valve is a new generation of high performance ball valve. It is labor-saving operation:ball is supported by upper and lower stems to reduce friction and eliminate the formation of the ball and the sealing seat driven by the inlet pressure to prevent excessive torque due to huge sealing load. |
8. Anti-Blow-out Stem
Our stem adopts the blow-out proof structure.The stem is designed with the footstep at its bottom so that with the positioning of upper end cover and screw, the stem will not be blown out by the medium even in case of abnormal pressure rise in the valve cavity. |
Applicable Notes:
1) All materials (metallic & non-metallic) shall be suitable for the full pressure rating over the design.
2) Coating is in accordance with API standard blast and primer for shipment & storage protection.
3) Asbestos is not acceptable for any valve parts.
4) Our ball valve is marked in accordance with MSS SP-25 including requirements of ASME B16.34, in addition a
stainless steel tag showing the valves tag number is attached to the valve with multi strand stainless steel wire.
5) All of our pressure containing parts (including ball, stem & seat holders) is supplied with material certification to
EN 10204-3.1 (including certified copies of original mill certificates), all other parts including bolting and seal
materials to EN10204-2.2.
6) Our customer is free to undertake inspection and witness testing, this is in addition to any witness
points required by the customer.
7) Our valves in excess of 50Kg to include lifting lugs (flanges and/or top covers shall not be used) and valves in
excess of 100Kg shall be supplied with support feet / brackets.
8) After completion of testing, our valves shall be properly dried to prevent any test liquid remaining in the valve,
preserved and fitted with protective end caps suitable for storage in a covered and enclosed desert environment.
9) Our valves shall be carefully braced and packed in wooden boxes suitable for sea freight in accordance with GB and
manufactures standards.
