The volume of liquefied natural gas (LNG) will expand rapidly after gasification. After closing the valve, the residual liquefied natural gas in the body cavity will absorb heat from the surrounding environment and rapidly gasify, the pressure in the body cavity will rise rapidly, when the pressure in the body cavity exceeds the use limit of the body material, the valve will explode. Therefore, the ultra-low temperature valve needs to provide the design of pressure relief structure. According to the actual requirements of the process pipeline, pressure relief should be carried out in front of the valve or behind the valve to avoid abnormal pressure boost in the cavity.
